Believe this is correct for 88 and 89 Gm square body trucks Suva but will fit other earlier years with a cable driven speedometer. Sorry for the long read. This is the pretty rare factory cluster with tripometer but still cable driven. Then I completely disassembled and cleaned everything including polishing out any significant wear on the lens.

This is a GM factory original part assembly removed from 1988 square body suburban. Also note the tripometer does reset, typically they get stuck/locked up. I went thru this and cleaned tightened all of the terminals that accept pins on gauges along with where they contact printed circuit board. As shown in the pictures all of back light night time bulbs work along with warning blinker indicator lights.

Perfect to complete your restoration. The pins on the gauges were also cleaned to insure good contact with terminals/circuit board. The printed circuit board has a couple very minor imperfections but is also excellent. As shown in the video below all of gauges work as they should, including tripometer.

The last 2 pictures are with the lens and filler panels removed so you can see how clean sharp graphics on gauge faces. I also cleaned and tightened all of the bulb sockets, both where they hold bulbs contact circuit board. Overall it shows very minor wear as is used but in fantastic condition and super clean. The housing is in excellent condition and all of the mounting tabs are there tact with only a few hairline cracks barrels that accept screws for trim bezel.
